Flickr Fotographer Friday – Dragonfly Photography

Dragonfly Photography

This is going to be the first in a series of posts which feature Flickr Photographers who I adore, I think I shall call it Flickr Fotographer Fridays.  (Because alliteration is fun.)

These amazing images are the work of Rachel Scott, also known as Dragonfly Photography.

I have been following Rachel for almost a year now and have seen so many examples of her amazing talents, both in her wonderful eye for photography, but also her loving and kind personality, the kind that one can feel warming you from the inside, even through a computer screen. I have watched as Rachel has gone from just taking pictures for herself and the enjoyment of her family to shooting her first wedding and creating a business of seniors, family and pregancy portraits. Her style is feminine and soft and all about catching the little things, the little moments, little smiles, little laughs, those little things that make the world so wonderful but are often gone with the blink of a eye. She captures them with a click of the camera and through them you can feel her warm and joyful spirit reaching out and sharing it’s joy with the world.

Yes, perhaps I’m a bit sentimental today, but after seeing one of her posts today (Existence), it made me catch my breath and almost cry for all the beauty in the world.

So Rachel, thank you, you are wonderful.

For more of Rachel’s photography work you can visit her flickr page, her blog or her photography shop on etsy. (PS. She also makes jewellry!)
